Your 80 hours of training will be sent to you via email links – within 24 hours of purchase.  At the completion of your training I will issue you a certificate of completion along with the AWS CWI 9 year renew form with my training portion filled out. All you will need to do is fill in your information and send the completed 9 year renew application along with the AWS fee to the AWS (be sure to keep a copy for your records).

You will advised us when your CWI expiration date is: (Month / Year)

We will need to complete the 80 hours of ASAP so you can get it in the mail to the AWS prior to the end of the month that your CWI expires. Data you will receive at the completion of the 80 hour training will be:            80 PDH CertificateAWS CWI 9 Year Renew Application (page 4 completed by Son Set Consultants) AWS CWI Visual Acuity Record (blank form to be completed by your eye doctor)

Your 80 hours of training will be sent to you via email links The training links sent to you are tracked.I receive notice each time you use the training (lets me know who and when) and I see your exam results.

We see who uses the training and when the training is viewed.
Please - Do not share your training links with anyone else or we will:
1.         Freeze your training.
2.         Ask you to explain why the training has been shared
3.         If you do not have a good reason – you will lose access to your training

The training links arrive in an email and once you click on the training link in each email the training starts.

Allow the pages to fully load (watch the bar at the bottom move completely across the screen).  Training is complete with exams.

You can pause / back up / go forward (unless you are in the exam portion).

The link will automatically start your training (no need for any software).

The training will run automatically, however you can pause, fast forward and if not taking an exam, you can go in reverse. There are interactive exams included and we track your scores from our private web site.

The training cannot be copied or shared. Any abuse of this nature will freeze your training account and you will be ask to prove that you have not copied or shared your training with anyone else. If you knowingly copy or share your training, your account will be locked.

OPTION 2: 9-YEAR RECERTIFICATION BY EXEMPTION:

CONTINUING EDUCATION: This option is for those inspectors who have kept themselves up-to-date in the field of inspection by attending classes and seminars related to the field of welding inspection.

A minimum of 80 PDH (Professional Development Hour) earned during the nine year certification period,

20 PDH earned in the last three-year period is required.

A PDH (Professional Development Hour) is no less than 50 minutes of personal interaction between a learner and instructor. Contact implies two-way communication in order for the learner to receive feedback. Son Set Consultants CWI 9 year renewal 80 PDH computer based On-Line training is two way communication (you take training and exams on-line – we see your scores and respond).

Son Set Consultants CWI 9 year renewal computer based On-Line training meets the AWS requirements.

A maximum of 80 PDH are allowed for any one course and no course may be repeated for credit within any three year period.

“Son Set Consultants” 80 PDH Certificate of completion, must be submitted with your application.

Son Set Consultants CWI 9 year renewal computer based On-Line training certificate of completion is accepted by the AWS for 9 year renewal.

Per AWS QC 1 2007 (section 16) / AWS B5.1 2003 (section 8) – you can have 80 hours of training - classroom contact hours or long distance correspondence (Professional Development Hours = PDH) completed on approved class content provided by an approved facility (Son Set Consultants is an approved training facility) and after completion - simply submit my completion certificate that I will issue you after completion of the training along with your 9 year renewal application (and fee to the AWS) for 9 year CWI renewal without having to take the Practical Exam for renewal. You are required to have 80 hours of training. 40 hours of the training can be completed anytime during the 9 year period, however the remaining 40 hours of training shall be completed within the last three years of your 9 year certification. I can issue to you all 80 hours via a computer based training program (click on the "Buy Now" button below to purchase the 80 PDH ).
At the completion of your training I will issue you a certificate that is acknowledged by the AWS as sufficient for the 80PDH requirement.
